RISING Woolgoolga BMX star Chloe Molan's ability on a bike has earned her a place in the Australian team to compete in New Zealand on October 19. 

Chloe has had blazing rides in local competitions and placed sixth in the country in this year's national titles after three second places and a third. 

She will race in the Mighty 11s category against some of the best in the world in the Trans Tasman Test event against New Zealand. 

To help her get there, Chloe and her family are asking for a little help from the community.

Michelle said both her daughters worked really hard at training and Chloe was thrilled to be part of the Australian team heading to New Zealand.

She usually trains twice a week at either Grafton or Sawtell as well as racing in every event she can from Queensland club events to races closes to home.

"She's practising heaps, whenever she can train, she's out there," Michelle said. 

"She won the state series last year and she's leading it again this year." 

Chloe has been selling cupcakes to help fund the trip and the family hopes the disco will give her efforts a boost. 

There will be a sausage sizzle, guess how many jellybeans competition and more. 

In the last leg of the Trans Tasman Test held at Lake Macquarie in June, the Australian girls beat the visitors and the Molan family hopes for a repeat in New Zealand.
