The 40-year-old actress was recently named artistic director of Pour La Victoire,He demanded the woman handed over money and, fearing for her life, she emptied cash from the till into a drawstring bags wholesale before he left. for which she’s designing shoes and accessories. Wary of oft-criticized celebrity collaborations, Diaz stressed that the new role is a “true partnership” with the brand.

Diaz’s first goal with Pour La Victoire is to create a “functional” and “quality” shoe collection.

She takes the same approach with handbags — they should be sensible but beautiful. 

“If you’re spending $500 on a bag, it should be your partner in life,” Diaz said. “That’s what a bag is for women. It holds everything important in your life as long as you’re carrying it.” 

Her first collection hits stores next spring.

Pour La Victoire is known for its mid-priced accessories and sexy shoes. 

“We want the brand to be accessible for that working girl,” Diaz said. “I work hard for my money. I want [the collection] to be sensible, whether you have a lot of money or you are scraping together pennies.” 

The brand says Diaz’ “accessible, very down-to-earth” style makes her a perfect fit for its “polished casual” target audience.
